Casa San Jose is working with organizers from the Pittsburgh chapter of Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, the Thomas Merton Center, the ANSWER Coalition, Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network and other groups to halt the deportation of Mexican immigrant and Pittsburgh resident Martin Esquivel. Esquivel is a father of three, husband and community volunteer who has worked to improve the lives of people in the Latino community of Pittsburgh.
